Two lessons that still shape everything.
I started my career in the staffing and HR consulting industry, where I picked up two things that still shape everything I do today.
First: every business problem eventually becomes a people problem. Second: the best HR leaders understand the business — and the best sales leaders understand people.
Over the course of a decade, I worked my way from recruiting into sales leadership, branch management, and divisional leadership roles across Canada and North America. Along the way, I helped lead a startup to back-to-back placement on Profit Magazine's Hot 50 — among the fastest-growing companies in Canada — and my team set an all-time sales record at a multinational staffing organization.
In 2009, I launched my own consulting practice. Within a year, it was recognized with the Outstanding Consulting Award by the BCGW.
Since then, I've embedded inside dozens of founder-led and mid-market organizations — leading the sales functions, navigating change, and helping owners build the leadership layer their business needs to scale.
My Philosophy
Companies don't grow. People do.
It's the people who build the strategy, execute the plan, and deliver the results. When a business is stuck, the answer is almost always in the room — it's usually a leadership, capability, or alignment problem, not a market problem.
My job is to find it, fix it, and build something that outlasts me.
